President's Cup Open Golf Croquet Singles Championship
Mon Sept 1 and Tues Sept 2, 2025
ENTRIES CLOSE: Wednesday 27th August at 12noon
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Open to all McIlwraith members
TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE
1. Except for the Final, games will have a 60 minute time limit.
2. If a game is tied when the timer goes, a deciding hoop will be played.
3. Entrants will be required to play a maximum of 7 games.
4. The tournament will be organised as a single block if there are 8 or fewer players.
5. If there are more than 10 entries, there will be two blocks.
6. Each player will play each person in their block.
TOURNAMENT TIMING
7. All round robin games will be played on Monday 1stSeptember.
8. There will be no semifinal games if there is one block of entrants. If there are two blocks, there will be semifinalgames, contested by the top two players of both blocks. These will be the best of three untimed games played on the morning of Tuesday 2nd September.
9. The best-of-3 Final (untimed games) will be played on Tuesday afternoon, 2nd September.
10. The games schedule will be available on 30th August.
11. By agreement with your opponent, you may re-schedule any round robin game, as long as it is played prior to 5.30pm on Monday 1st September.
ENTRY
12. All entries must be made online by entering your name to the President’s Cup Play Events Calendar on the Club website.
13. You must be available to play at any time on both days of the competition.
